Mens Gymnastics
Average Squad Size – 18-22 athletes
NCAA – Equivalency Scholarship
Division I – 14 Universities – 6.3 scholarships
Division III – 300+ University Programs – need based aid
DEF’N – Equivalency – % of scholarship received by SA determined by coach/school; unlimited number of SA’s can receive scholarship with the total added together to not exceed the limit for that sport
Womens Gymnastics
Average Squad Size – 18-20 athletes
NCAA – Head Count-DI & Equivalency-DII Scholarships
Division I – 60+ Universities – 12.0 scholarships
Division II – 5+ University Programs – 6.0 scholarships
Division III – 15 University Programs – need based aid
DEF’N – Head Count – If program is fully funded with 100% of allowable scholarship number than each scholarship is 100%. The scholarships can not be divided.
