Cross Country Opportunities & Scholarship Offerings

  • 2,200+ university cross country programs across NCAA, NAIA, JUCO & CCCAA
  • Team National Championship Season – Fall Semester – September thru November
  • On average 7 meets of competition
  • Variety of programs to suit all skill levels and educational goals

Mens Cross Country 

Average Squad Size – 15+ athletes

NCAA – Equivalency Scholarships

(combined with T&F)

Division I – 300+ Universities – 12.6 scholarships
Division II – 250+ University Programs – 12.6 scholarships
Division III – 400+ University Programs – need based aid

NAIA – Equivalency Scholarships

150+ University Programs – 12.0 scholarships 

NJCAA – Full & Partial

150+ University Programs
Division I – 20.0 scholarships
Division II – 20.0 partial scholarships
Division III – no athletic scholarships, need based aid

CCCAA

60+ College Programs – no athletic scholarships, academic scholarships available 

DEF’N – Equivalency – % of scholarship received by SA determined by coach/school; unlimited number of SA’s can receive scholarship with the total added together to not exceed the limit for that sport

DEF’N – Full – Tuition, Fees, Room & Board + $250 course related supplies & transportation costs one time per academic year

Womens Cross Country

Average Squad Size – 15+ athletes

NCAA – Equivalency Scholarships

(combined with T&F)

Division I – 350+ Universities – 18.0 scholarships
Division II – 250+ University Programs – 12.6 scholarships
Division III – 400+ University Programs – need based aid

NAIA – Full & Partial Scholarships

150+ University Programs – 12 scholarships 

NJCAA – Full & Partial Scholarships

200+ College Programs
Division I – 20.0 scholarships
Division II – 20.0 partial scholarships
Division III – no athletic scholarships, need based aid

CCCAA

60+ College Programs – no athletic scholarships, academic scholarships available 

DEF’N – Head Count – If program is fully funded with 100% of allowable scholarship number than each scholarship is 100%. The scholarships can not be divided.

DEF’N – Partial – Tuition, Fees, Books & $250 course related supplies
